This is another reason to force GATHERing ONE GATHER token per turn. -john has a crazy idea. what is the gather tokens are like food? meaning, every turn you have to discard X number (based on Hive size and Number of ants) and using a GATHER token provides this foodsource. So, when you flip it, the reverse side is ANT FOOD. and you get to draw ONE CARD. each turn, you pay ant food on your upkeep. If you don't have enough, you lose an ant, or it gets sick or it can't move. etc. this means, if you go an extended time without flipping a GATHER token, your ants will DIE we won't do this next loop since we first want to test the GATHER TOKEN = ONE RESOURCE idea. Game ended in DEATH FOR ALL after we lost all the resource cards and nothing but brown leaves left jay had 7 hexes. john had 4 jay invaded john's territory like a jerk. game is broken, but that's only because the ants live in a utopia.
